Privacy for the Nomi public site
How Nomi handles launch forms and approximate-country routing for Amazon book links.
At a glance
The public launch collects adult contact details, interest choices, and form metadata.
The public forms collect email, optional adult name, selected interest, optional notes, and launch metadata.
We also record consent time, source page, landing path, referrer, and UTM details for the submission.
Please do not send child or school details. They are not needed for the launch forms.
1. Who we are
This notice covers the public Nomi site
Nomi Learning runs the public Nomi launch pages at nomilearning.com.
This Privacy Policy covers newsletter signup, book-launch updates, activity-book or theme-request forms, and Amazon store routing.
- Contact: hello@nomilearning.com
- Effective date: 17 July 2026
2. What we collect
Information collected from the forms
The public launch forms collect only the information needed to manage updates and understand launch interest.
- Email address.
- Optional adult name when a form asks for it.
- Selected interest, such as newsletter signup, book-launch updates, or a theme request.
- Optional notes supplied in a theme request.
- Consent status, consent time, source page, landing path, referrer, and UTM campaign details.
3. How information is collected
Most of the details come from the form and page context
Adults type the email address, optional name, selected interest, and any optional notes into the form.
The site also captures the page URL, landing path, referrer, and UTM details from the browser at the time of submission.
Consent is recorded with a timestamp when the form is submitted.
4. Amazon store routing
Approximate country helps choose an Amazon store
When you use a link to buy a book from Amazon, our hosting provider may supply an approximate country code so we can direct you to an appropriate Amazon store.
This feature does not store your country, request precise location, or set a location cookie.
5. How we use it
How we use the information
We use launch-form information to send newsletter or book-launch updates to consenting adults, keep a record of consent, and understand which themes families want next.
When admin Supabase is configured, we store the lead in marketing lead records and also create a marketing UTM event for attribution.
- Send launch and book-release updates to consenting adults.
- Group interest by source page, landing path, referrer, and UTM details.
- Review theme suggestions without treating them as child profiles or school records.
- Troubleshoot spam, failed submissions, and duplicate requests.
6. What not to send
Do not send child or school details
The public launch does not need personal information about a child, school, teacher, class, or worksheet.
Theme ideas should stay general, such as dinosaurs, space, robots, mazes, animals, or tracing practice.
- Do not send child full names.
- Do not send school, teacher, or class names.
- Do not send worksheet photos or private learning records.
- Do not send payment details, card numbers, passwords, or account secrets.
8. Overseas disclosure
Some providers may process data outside Australia
Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia.
If that happens, it is only for hosting, storage, email delivery, security, or analytics related to the public launch site.
9. Retention
How long we keep launch records
We keep launch-form records for as long as they are needed for updates, consent evidence, unsubscribe handling, and ordinary business records.
If a record is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it where we reasonably can.
10. Unsubscribe
You can opt out of launch emails at any time
Launch emails should include an unsubscribe option.
You can also ask to stop receiving updates by emailing hello@nomilearning.com.
11. Access and correction
You can ask for a copy or a correction
You can ask us what launch information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
Email hello@nomilearning.com and we may ask you to verify ownership of the address before we make a change.
12. Complaints
How to raise a privacy concern
If you think we have mishandled your information, email us with the details and we will review the concern.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
